Use labels people can read
Put a short label beside the Hand, Foot, stock and discard areas in an open-hand practice. Use the same words as your selected complete reference. If players use two names for the same thing, write both together once rather than alternating without explanation.
Keep the source visible
Write the version and source URL on a reference card. A familiar game name is not enough to settle a disagreement about setup or scoring. An unexplained screenshot can be harder to check than a clear link.
Practise a description
Ask one learner to describe an example without touching the cards. Another should point to the relevant area. If they picture different things, resolve that language before adding more rules.
Remove scaffolding gradually
When everyone can identify the areas, try another sample without the labels. This is a teaching suggestion, not a required procedure for a normal game.
