Separate two events
Finishing the Hand moves you toward playing the Foot. It does not by itself establish that the partnership is eligible to end the round.
Find the complete conditions
Open the chosen reference at its going-out section. Read every condition together rather than copying only the most familiar pile requirement. Ask another player to explain how each item applies to the actual position.
Keep the tool bounded
The stage demo assumes a legal way of emptying the Hand and shows only the timing that follows. It does not check required piles, partner status, permission or the cards remaining in play. The scorebook cannot verify these conditions either.
